Aspen Hope Center Careers

The landscape of mental health in the State of Colorado is shifting in ways that have not been witnessed in decades. In 2010, Aspen Hope Center opened its doors as the only freestanding crisis center and chose mobile crisis and co-response as its core specialty. Over the past 13 years, the Hope Center has proven itself as a reputable, professional agency; a center of excellence for crisis work. For years, the agency has proven to have the highest level of integrity, taking on challenges to improve access for the community as well as walking away from requests that were not in line with mental health best practices. The work has paid off as now; and state, regional, and local governing entities are looking to the Aspen Hope Center to help with this shifting landscape. The multitude of changes is prompting the Aspen Hope Center to review its capacity and possibly provide broader and deeper services to the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. It is an amazing time to be part of the vision, growth, and new structure and system-building, both locally and regionally, and we thank you for your interest in joining the Aspen Hope Center team.

Aspen Hope Center team members are chosen for their passion for this work, vision to see how to creatively serve the community first, and their unwavering dedication to the agency and mission. At times this means not going with mainstream thoughts and beliefs, it may mean respectfully challenging contractors or partners who do not fully understand crisis work or the way Aspen Hope Center functions. Education must be tactfully provided to all who are encountered, from staff to partners, clients, and to community members alike. Aspen Hope Center has been ‘different’ from the day the doors opened. Aspen Hope Center leaders lead by example and go above and beyond. They know how to remain balanced and guide a team with strength, honesty, and tenacity, while never putting themselves above the rest. They are part of a leadership group that allows them space to problem-solve, be vulnerable and have a sounding board for solutions. In all positions, professionalism and respect are expected while holding no judgment and having deep humility allowing our team to thrive.
